Recycled Cotton

The textile industry generates a massive volume of waste even before the creation of a garment, discarding between 12% and 30% of the raw material in the form of damaged yarns, lint, or cutting scraps. Recycled cotton utilizes these post-industrial residues directly at the source in Turkey, reintroducing these material losses into a new production cycle.

The upcycling process is strictly mechanical and excludes any chemical intervention, allowing the material to retain its original integrity. Powered by nearly 50% solar energy, this engineering redefines resource efficiency. While the creation of one kilogram of virgin cotton requires approximately 13,000 liters of water from cultivation to dyeing, this recycled fiber requires none. The impact is radical: per meter of fabric produced, the final assembly saves 92% of water, reduces CO2 by 57%, and decreases the eutrophication impact by 68%.

The compliance of this closed loop is guaranteed from the fiber to the finished product by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS). Like our other materials, this textile is dually validated by the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 label and manufactured by ISO 9001 certified facilities.
